This Content Policy outlines what is and isn't allowed on the SideButton marketplace. Publishers who submit workflows agree to follow these guidelines. Users who discover content that violates these guidelines should report it using the Report function.

2. Prohibited Content

The following types of content are not allowed on the SideButton marketplace:

Malicious Content

  • Malware, spyware, or any code designed to harm users or their systems
  • Workflows that attempt to steal credentials, personal data, or financial information
  • Content that exploits security vulnerabilities
  • Cryptominers or other resource-hijacking software

Deceptive Content

  • Workflows with false or misleading descriptions of functionality
  • Fake reviews, ratings, or endorsements
  • Impersonation of other publishers or brands
  • Hidden functionality not disclosed in the description

Intellectual Property Violations

  • Content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or trade secrets
  • Unauthorized use of third-party logos, branding, or assets
  • Plagiarized workflows from other publishers

Platform Abuse

  • Workflows designed to violate target platform Terms of Service at scale
  • Mass automation for spam, harassment, or abuse
  • Tools primarily designed to circumvent rate limits or access controls

Harmful Content

  • Workflows that facilitate harassment, doxxing, or stalking
  • Content promoting violence, hate speech, or discrimination
  • Tools designed for illegal activities

Spam

  • Duplicate workflows with minimal variations
  • SEO manipulation through keyword stuffing
  • Automatically generated low-quality content

3. Publisher Responsibilities

Publishers who submit workflows to the marketplace agree to:

  • Accurately describe what their workflows do
  • Disclose all required permissions and data access
  • Respond promptly to user inquiries and bug reports
  • Keep workflows updated and functional
  • Respect the intellectual property rights of others
  • Comply with applicable laws and regulations

4. Reporting Violations

If you find content that violates this policy, please report it using the "Report this workflow" or "Report" button on the relevant page. You can also email us directly at [email protected].

When reporting, please include:

  • The URL of the workflow or publisher page
  • Which policy section is being violated
  • A description of the issue
  • Any supporting evidence

5. Enforcement

We review all reports and take appropriate action based on the severity of the violation:

Repeated minor violations Content removal
Serious policy violation Immediate content removal
Malicious content Immediate removal + account suspension
Repeat serious offenses Permanent account ban

6. Appeals

Publishers whose content has been removed may appeal the decision by emailing [email protected] with:

  • The workflow or content that was removed
  • Why you believe the removal was incorrect
  • Any evidence supporting your appeal

We will review appeals within 5 business days and respond with our decision. Decisions on appeals are final.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Content Policy as needed. Material changes will be announced on our website and communicated to publishers. Continued use of the marketplace after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
